Warning: this poetry
is addictive.

The following four poems are available to sample:
Smoke with Fire, Kites, Flow, or The Siren.

Kites

Flirting
String crossing string,
Sometimes bumping.
My dragon jiggled in the gusts,
Her glider crashed nose-first.
We launched each other's kites,
Held each other's string.
And
When I headed straight back towards her,
Despite my shyness
She knew what I meant,
And breezed over to me, a lilting wind,
To plant a kiss on my surprised lips.

Everything stopped.
Even the dragon kite, impossibly precocious
Settled to the ground.
Gently nibbling lips,
Yards of meandering string
Collapsed in the grass.
A blue sky
And a proud afternoon sun.
